Creating an Event Registration site

There are two options to create a new event in Stova:

  • By cloning another event; or
  • Creating a new event from scratch (the big blue "Create New Event" button) 

Clone Cloning allows you to copy the structure of an existing event. It will create a new event based on the module settings of another event. You can select which event modules you want to clone and will bring through all the settings of that event into the new event. Including all the look & feel settings such as fonts, colors and logos. Individual registration records will not be copied across. 

New event This method allows you to create a new event from scratch, fully customizing all the module settings for the event.

We highly recommend cloning the ASU Basic Event Template for your first event.

Cloning the ASU Basic Event template is the easiest way to spin up an Stova event registration site. The template has the most popular or useful features enabled, with ASU branding already programmed in the registration website and emails. Yet the template is still fully customizable for your needs.

The ASU Template - Basic Event template is located in the 01 ASU Templates folder, which is located inside your unit folder.
